Case 2: Female 25 yo

Returning for some test results: swabs done for a really bad throat.
Says throat started to clear and almost fine.
Throat is not red but still hurts to swallow.
Feels like something stuck.
Does not snore.

Had given Symbicort for breathing issues at last consult as well. Organised CXR.

Has not had CXR done. Has not gotten Symbicort yet: too expensive.
Chronic night time cough : friend says she coughs a lot in her sleep.
Says loses breath quickly and cannot jog 100m without losing her breath.

OE:
Breath sounds still rasp

 

Assessment: If something goes wrong and you are still looking after this person,
you are going to wear it and no one is going to feel sorry for you. Refer > prefer Hospital.
