    patient needs to hold the question and this shuts them up.

" I'll just do this first".
We need to do this first- then we can look at the rest.

Dirty Trick:Say that all again. I missed it.
& maybe - ask a question:
How do you spell your name?, What is DOB?, and keep working, ignoring the answers.


  • I need a whole appointment to do one of those certificates.
  • So today we are doing---- (Reflect). If you fail to do this,
    you give patient command of the consultation agenda    .



  • That’s all I can do today.
    That’s all we’re doing today.

  • We’ve done this ----- thanks/user-friendly comment to end.

 

  • Med Cert: Don't offer: Patient should hold this uppermost in their minds :
    can't think/talk about anything else.
  • Never ask if there is anything else that needs to be done.
